$0.00

AVA: Russian River Valley
Vineyard: Martaella Vineyard
Region: Sonoma County
Produced: 150 Cases

Adonna’s 2024 Chardonnay is made from the Martaella Vineyard in the Russian River Valley AVA of Sonoma Coast. These grapes are from the heritage Wente clone prized for producing high quality wines with intense flavors and rich texture. Only 150 cases were produced.

Harvest Notes

The 2024 growing season for Chardonnay in West Sonoma County and the broader Sonoma Coast was characterized by a cool spring with rainfall stretching into May, followed by a warm summer and periodic spikes in daytime temperatures. The nighttime temperatures were cool, which helped maintain high acidity, contributing to the overall excellence of the harvest. Fruit was gently picked by hand on September 6, 2024.

An elegant and layered Russian River Valley Chardonnay that balances vibrant tension with a graceful, rounded texture — expressive, refined, and enduring. The wine opens with bright citrus, fresh pear, and lifted elderflower. As it evolves, layers of ripe nectarine, and peach unfold while accents of honeycomb and lemon curd add a touch of richness and complexity. On the palate, ripe pear and bright citrus provide lift, while lemon curd and stone fruit broaden the mid-palate. Mouthwatering acidity maintains freshness and drive to a long polished finish.
